TheReadingWiki![]() You have arrived (who knows how?) at that marginal project of the embittered sub-sub Amos Johannes Hunt known as the Reading Wiki. Here you will find page by page painstakingly reproduced (eventually) the text of Herman Melville's Moby Dick, and here, if you have a mind, you may freely mark the margins of those same pages with your thoughts thereupon, however minor, however digressive, however unsuitable they may seem to your self-damning critical eye. No more must they molder alone, uncommunicatively compacted in the all too uncommodious prison of your mind. No, no, now let them loose, and let their latent luster unfold itself as we who shall find them squeeze them in our loving e-mbrace. Should you wish to enter this magical squeeze-o-rama by contributing to the wiki, all you need do is e-mail info at grubstreetgrackle.com with a request for the password and a statement indicating that you are not a robot but a human capable of engaging other humans, for that is the home, the way, and the destination of this Wiki, and it is a path no robot's foot may follow. Guidelines for adding to pages will soon materialize. For now, it will be enough to say that the margins of Moby Dick are yours to fill if you will only click on the word "Edit" which appears at the top and bottom of every wiki-page, and enter the password which I shall be glad to give you at the drop of a hat or some equivalent token of your wish to have it.
